摘要: 历代思想家和文论家所说的“情”的内涵和外延有很大差异。春秋时期和战国初期,“情”是指不同层次上事物现象的本质。战国中晚期,“情”的意义向人的方面倾斜,开始和情感发生关系。战国时代关于“情”的讨论都是围绕“本质”“性”的主题展开的,而只有在讨论人性本质时才会论及人的情感。到汉代,“情”的核心内涵才逐渐被“情感”取代,最终成为几乎专指情感的名词。《乐记》和《毛诗序》将情与声音之文、语言之文、礼义之文相联系,从而将情提升到前所未有的地位。六朝批评家则将情的哲学概念引入文论,围绕情文关系深刻论述“情”的文学意义。思想史和文论中“情”的概念,在不同历史时期不断拓展其内涵和外延,从而得以丰富发展。

Abstract: There are great differences in the connotation and denotation of “emotion” between thinkers and literary theorists in the past dynasties. In Chun Qiu and Zhan Guo period, “emotion” refers to the essence of things at different levels. In the middle and late Zhan Guo period, the meaning of “emotion” began to incline to human aspect. In Han Dynasty, the core connotation of “emotion” was gradually replaced by “feeling”. Critics in the Six Dynasties introduced the concept of emotion into literary theory, and discussed the literary significance of “emotion” around the relationship between emotion and literature.
