The combination of autonomy and cognitive capitalism reactivates Marx’s category of“general intelligence”from the perspective of the subject of living labor. As the general intelligence of society,“general intelligence”is interpreted as the general potential of the public, that is,“general intelligence”. On this basis, it realizes a new understanding of“reality abstraction”,“fixed capital”and“public intelligence”, constructs a distinctive critical theory of autonomy and the paradigm of“cognitive capitalism”, and becomes a beautiful landscape in the contemporary western left-wing trend of thought. However, it also has inevitable theoretical defects, which over generalize the scientific connotation of“general intelligence”and“fixed capital”, confuse“general intelligence”and“the function form of general intelligence”, and has a distinct tendency of determinism of general intelligence, thus deconstructing the class logic and falling into the pattern of postmodernism in the struggle strategy.
