摘要：
保守主义的基本使命是保守西方现代文明的正统价值和主流传统。特朗普保守主义复兴的特殊情境是后现代主义价值革命和美国向后现代文明的转型，其使命是抵制激进的后现代主义潮流。特朗普执政唤起了保守派的意识觉醒，恢复了现代文明的话语权，凝聚了保守派的力量，为保守派施政作出了示范。然而从长过程来看，美国向后现代文明转型的大趋势难以逆转，保守主义在其中只能发挥抵制或延缓作用，却难以改变美国走向衰落的命运。

Abstract:
The fundamental mission of conservatism is to safeguard the core values and dominant traditions of
modern civilization. The particular situation of the rebirth of Trump ’s conservatism is the revolution of post-
modernism values and the transition to post-modern civilization. It has a mission to resist radical postmodernism.
Nevertheless, from a long-term perspective, the general trend of America’s transition to postmodern civilization is
difficult to reverse, the role of conservatism can only delay its progress, and can hardly change the declining fate of American civilization in the end.
