摘要：
中国当下面临着严峻的养老问题，不少人提出的重要解决思路是重塑传统孝道。然而，现代社会是流动性强的陌生人社会，而且特别强调人格平等与性别平等，因此孝顺行为的亲情动机、道德动机和利益动机（继承财产和不孝的惩罚）都与传统社会相去甚远，并且难以改变。为了适应现代价值以及有限利他的人性，我们应该转变思路，从制度上入手解决养老问题，国家应该为所有人提供基本的福利保障和完善的社会保险制度。与此相对应，传统孝道中应该倡导与发扬的是亲情孝道，应该调整与改造的是感恩孝道，应该摒弃的则是权威孝道。

Abstract:
At present, China is facing the problem of providing for the aged, and many people suggest to reshape the traditional filial piety to solve it. However, modern society is a society of strangers with strong mobility. It emphasis on equality of personality and gender equality. Therefore, the family affection motivation, moral motivation and self-interest motivation for filial piety are quite different from those in the traditional society, which is very difficult to change. In order to adapt to these modern values and the limited altruism of human being, we should solve the problem of providing for the aged by welfare institution. The state should provide basic welfare and social insurance system for all people. Correspondingly, what should be advocated and carried forward in traditional filial piety is filial piety from family affection, what should be adjusted and reformed is filial piety from gratitude, and what should be completely abandoned is filial piety from authority for serving politics.
