摘要:
瓦尔堡学派的图像阐释学提供了一种经典的图像阐释模式,其长期困于艺术史领域,执着地追求原典、母题、神话等命题,形成了以象征分析为核心的阐释框架,但未能对媒介问题给予足够的重视。实际上,图像与媒介可谓纠缠共生,在媒介演进脉络中,图像往往不可避免地携带着媒介信息,唯有对其加以识别、追踪和复原,方可在媒介意义上发现那些被忽视却极为重要的阐释“线索”,从而打开图像阐释的多维意义面向。相应地,媒介视角下的代表性图像形式——传统图像、模拟图像与数字图像,存在不同的阐释方向和意义问题,其分别对应的媒介逻辑是介质逻辑、装置逻辑以及程序逻辑,打开的阐释问题是媒介与图像的影响关系、生产关系以及共生关系,聚焦的阐释重点是从媒介的物质视角理解图像的形态、图像的概念以及图像的功能问题。

Abstract:
Image and media, in the image-making process, are intertwined, constituting and complementing each other. As media develops, what media endow images with needs to be marked, traced and reconstructed so that the interpretative clues, long-neglected but significant, could be revealed and multi-dimensional image interpretations made possible. Traditional images, analog images and digital images, accordingly, in the perspective of media study, orient towards different interpretations and follow different logic, namely, the logic of medium, apparatus and procedures. Such a perspective sheds light on the influence of media on image, production of image and co-existence of media and image, and puts research emphasis on the interpretation of image modalities, conceptions and functions from the materiality of media.
