Abstract:

In the digital age, the internet practice replicates the rural acquaintance society established based on blood and geography to the internet platform, breaks through the limitations of the geographical boundary of the traditional rural society, constructs a digital community between cities and villages, builds a digital contact mechanism between villagers, and forms a digital relationship network of rural society, Finally, it evolves into a virtual acquaintance social form in the digital age. In essence, the rural acquaintance society does not present the decline form of rural society, but relies on internet technology to reactivate the internal vitality of rural society and maintain the basic core of traditional rural acquaintance society, but shows a new form of acquaintance society, that is, the rural social form characterized by the virtualization of acquaintance society. The characteristics of the rural social form are different from the description of acquaintance society in the existing research work. Virtual acquaintance society is not only the starting point to identify the basic form of rural society in the digital age, but also the deepening and expansion of the concept of“acquaintance society”. It is the theoretical premise to recognize many practical puzzles in the current rural society and realize the effective governance of rural society.
