摘要：
2021年，“元宇宙”（metaverse）一时声名鹊起，成为产业圈、创投圈和文化圈中炙手可热的话题。这一概念及其所代表的一系列新技术条件下的新秩序、制度、生活方式，为何会引起如此大的反响，又对人类社会的未来具有何种意义？为此，《探索与争鸣》2021年第12期组织刊发了“重识中国与世界·元宇宙专题”，并入选2021年度“中国人文学术十大热点”；2022年2月10日，又与《文艺理论研究》编辑部 、《华东师范大学学报》（哲学社会科学版）编辑部共同主办了“认识元宇宙：文化、社会与人类的未来”学术论坛，与会专家学者就“元宇宙”的哲学基础、道德伦理、媒介实践、社会特征、主体特征等多层面进行了深入交流和反思。现择要整理刊发，以飨读者。

Abstract:
In 2021,“metaverse”attracted wide attention and became a hot concept in the industrial circle,
venture capital circle and cultural circle. Why do this concept and its new order, system and lifestyle under
a series of new technological conditions cause such a great response, and what is its significance to the
future of human society? In response to these questions, we hosted the academic forum“Understanding the
Metaverse: Culture, Society and the Future of Mankind”. The participating experts and scholars conducted
in-depth exchanges and Reflections on the philosophical basis, morality and ethics, media practice, social characteristics, subject characteristics and other aspects of the“metaverse”.
