Abstract:
The increasing integration of data-driven technology with the human body is enhancing the digitization of external appearance, internal narratives, and future planning, transforming individuals into “virtual persons” in daily life, “intelligent beings” in key application areas and “digital real persons” in social interactions. While body digitization offers convenience and governance services, it also introduces new ethical risks. Under the scrutiny of data, individuals face identity crises; privacy anxieties arise from data intervention; and there’s a trend towards aesthetic alienation in the collusion of data and capital. Therefore, it’s imperative to adhere to ethical principles that unify proactive and practical ethics, and to establish ethical responsibilities that combine accountability with responsibility. This approach aims to return to people-centered and body-centered value concepts in the good governance of technology.
