从媒介视角出发，在生成性、通用性方面取得重大进展的 ChatGPT，展示了前所未有的新型交互方式，其突破性体现在个体与智能媒介的实时交互，能够实施人—机在社会生活多领域的协同生成，或可将之视为人类历史上第一个连接全球网络的个体化媒介。提出“媒介通用性”概念可以展现人工智能的技术通用性如何接入特定时空的文化境况，并转化为社会及人类自身的变革动能。ChatGPT 及其后续人工智能的发展，预示着“视频化社会”的来临，整合了所有媒介形态的智能化视频正在成为社会通用性主导媒介形态。这表明，人—机融合主体的共生性不仅仅是一种协同工作，更是创造了史无前例的人—机协同的普遍社会交互模式，从而引发人类文明的变迁。

Abstract:

From a media perspective, the significant progress made by ChatGPT in terms of generativity and versatility has presented an unprecedented new type of interaction. Its breakthrough lies in the real-time interaction between an individual and an intelligent medium, which enables human-computer synergistic generativity in multiple areas of social life. It can also be regarded as the first individuated medium connecting to the global network in the history of mankind. The concept of media versatility can demonstrate how the technological versatility of AI can be accessed to a specific spatial and temporal cultural situation, and transformed into the kinetic energy of society and human beings themselves. The development of ChatGPT and its subsequent AI indicates the coming of a “videoized society”, and intelligent video, which integrates all forms of media, is becoming the dominant form of media in terms of social versatility. This suggests that the symbiotic nature of human-machine integrated subjects is not just about collaborative work, but also the creation of an unprecedented human-machine synergistic universal mode of social interaction, which will lead to the transformation of human civilization.
