Abstract:
From the understanding of mainstream ideology based on Marx’s practical materialist historical view, the intrinsic structure of mainstream ideology consists of three main stages: the primordial starting stage, the sequential intermediate stage, and the completing terminal stage. These stages form an organic and comprehensive whole through progressive integration. The starting stage manifests as the historical prerequisites of human existence and the development of productive forces, along with the imperative normative demands on history. The intermediate stage manifests as the forms of subjectivity, ideological concepts, and practices. The terminal stage manifests as the constitutive elements of normalized historical reality. The intrinsic structure of mainstream ideology, generated through the fusion of these stages, presents itself as a complete form, functioning as a comprehensive and progressive organic whole covering various domains of social history. Thus, the framework for effective construction of mainstream ideology is delimited as a specific and effective construction pattern. This pattern, rooted in the inherent requirements for historical possibility, tasks itself with nurturing qualified subjects capable of meeting these demands, forming scientific ideological concepts that recognize and fulfill these demands, and creating objective mechanisms that effectively meet these demands.
