摘要:
自走棋是晚近五年流行的主流网络游戏类型之一。这类游戏属于幸存系游戏,它将玩家从宇野常宽所谓决断主义者赋权为元决断主义者,且以自动战斗为方法使他们陷入自我幻想式的胜负攻防。自走棋奉行全景敞视主义的意识形态策略,以完全透明的游戏机制悖论性地将玩家带入充斥着竞争幻象的无风险游戏 - 社会。尽管它为玩家虚构了可容身的外部性,实际上却是一个自闭式的内面世界,并使玩家在内与外的辩证法中陷入自我目的化的无限循环。自走棋中的剩余时间转换了电竞游戏的象征秩序,获取竞争胜利不是以加速主义为方法战胜他人,而是以缜密算计的理性态度实现自我压制。这隐喻了当代社会的范式转型。自走棋同样演绎了悲观社会的想象力,是一种须被超克的游戏类型。

Abstract:
Auto Chess has emerged as a mainstream online game over the past five years. This type of game belongs to the category of survival-based games, transforming players from what Uno Tsunehiro terms “decisionists” into “meta-deciders”. Using automated battles as a means to immerse them in a self-illusionary cycle of victory and defeat, Auto Chess adheres to an ideological strategy of panopticism, paradoxically employing a fully transparent game mechanism to immerse players in a risk-free gaming society saturated with the illusion of competition. Although it fabricates an externality in which players can find refuge, in reality, it constructs a closed interior world, ensnaring players in an endless cycle of self-referential purposiveness within the dialectic of the internal and the external. The residual time within Auto Chess reconfigures the symbolic order of e-sports: victory in competition is no longer achieved through an accelerationist method of overpowering others but rather through a meticulously calculated, rational form of self-restraint. This shift metaphorically reflects the paradigm transformation of contemporary society. Moreover, Auto Chess manifests the imagination of a pessimistic society, positioning itself as a game genre that must ultimately be transcended.
